Bright from the Start Workshop
**REGISTRATION REQUIRED, CONTACT LIBRARY**
The Family Place Libraries™ model is now in over 400 libraries in 30 states serving thousands of young children and their parents/caregivers. Wolfforth Library is proud to be among them. The Bright from the Start workshop is a five-week program for toddlers and their caregivers. The workshops are fun and play-based providing an environment rich with toys, books and art activities and an opportunity for families to spend time together, make friends and talk one-on-one with specialists on various aspects of child development, parenting and early literacy. There are two main goals of the Parent Child Workshop. The first is to provide a setting in which you and your child can play and learn together, free from the interruptions of daily life. The second goal is to introduce parents to community resource specialists who will provide you with information on different aspects of parenting and child development. If you have any specific questions or concerns, this is a great opportunity to talk in an informal and confidential manner. Our community room is transformed into three different activity areas: Art Exploration, Toy Stations, and Resource Materials.
