Our Reader's Stories
"I became a stay at home parent, and had no idea what things I could do to get myself and my daughter out of the house and socializing. I ran into a friend when she was on her way to storytime at the library. I immediately got online and looked up the storytime hours. The library was exactly what I was looking for. It got us out of the house and socializing, but also nurtured a love for reading and play in my child. As a former reading teacher, that was an awesome bonus. The Wolfforth library is a hidden gem in the community and we will continue to share how amazing it is with our friends."

Raising kids takes a village. We have been lucky to have the City of Wolfforth Library and their amazing staff as part of our village. We have been to tons of storytimes and my kids are always so excited to go. The storytimes in the summers are our absolute favorite. The amazing ladies at the City of Wolfforth Library are so great at finding fun and exciting guests to read and teach our kids. A big milestone in our house is turning five years old so that we can go to the library to sign up for our very own library card!

"The librarian, Kim, helped Claire go from a struggling reader to the top reader in her class with her great suggestions of books that Claire would enjoy. The summer reading program has always been a great incentive to keep reading all summer. It kept them from losing reading skills through the summer break. Kids are welcomed at the library and my kids always felt like they were wanted there, not like a nuisance. The books and materials are high quality, modern, and clean. It feels like you are walking into a books store when you come in. There aren't enough good words to say about the COWL!"

"We love the Wolfforth Library. When we discovered it last summer I almost cried because we had been looking for a toddler friendly, safe place to play for so long. They have amazing kid areas, wonderful story-times, and the best programs a classes for littles. My daughter loved our weekly Wednesday trip to the library each week and we miss it so much since we’ve had to isolate this summer. The librarians are incredibly friendly and always made me feel like I was one of their best friends. They have a great selection of books and fantastic recommendations if you ask. We just love visiting the library!"
